PREDATOR WPA MEN’S 10-BALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 Heads to Vietnam for the First Time

The World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and Predator Group are proud to announce that the Predator WPA Men’s 10-Ball World Championship 2025 will be staged in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from September 20–28, 2025. This historic edition marks the very first time Vietnam will host one of the pool’s most prestigious world championships.

This year’s championship promises to be one of the most exciting in recent memory, with 96 of the world’s best players set to battle for their share of the $250,000 prize fund.

Leading the field is defending champion Carlo Biado (Philippines), who will be joined by an elite lineup including Joshua Filler (Germany), Shane Van Boening (USA), and two-time World 10-Ball Champion Eklent Kaçi (Albania).

The 80 invited players, selected through WPA rankings and Predator sponsor exemptions, are now confirmed. An additional 16 players will secure their spots through the official qualifying stage, held September 17–19, 2025.


A Global Lineup of Champions

The Predator WPA Men’s 10-Ball World Championship showcases the truly international reach of the sport, with representatives from Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa. Among the confirmed stars are:

  • Albin Ouschan (Austria)

  • Ko Pin-Yi & Ko Ping-Chung (Chinese Taipei)

  • Aloysius Yapp (Singapore)

  • Mario He (Austria)

  • Naoyuki Oi (Japan)

  • Ralf Souquet (Germany)

  • Mika Immonen (Finland)

  • Lee Van Corteza (Philippines)
