Chezka Centeno Crowned 2026 Oneida WPA Women’s World 8-Ball Champion

Green Bay, Wisconsin — The 2026 Oneida WPA Women’s World 8-Ball Championship concluded with an emotional and unforgettable finish as the Philippines’ Chezka “The Flash” Centeno captured the world title, defeating Great Britain’s Kelly “KwikFire” Fisher 9–6 in a thrilling championship match.

The five-day championship brought together the world’s best women players from 23 nations, delivering exceptional competition and showcasing the highest standard of international eight-ball.

For Centeno, the victory carried significance beyond the trophy. Less than three months after the passing of her mother, Josephine, the Filipina dedicated the biggest moment of her week to her family.

Immediately after securing the title, an emotional Centeno broke into tears and said, “I dedicate this to my mom.”

Semi-Finals Deliver World-Class Drama

The opening semi-final saw Centeno produce another composed performance, defeating Chinese Taipei’s Wei Wei “The Wave” 8–5 to earn her place in the championship match.

The second semi-final featured a remarkable comeback from Kelly Fisher. After trailing Savannah “The RoadRunner” Easton of the United States 5–2 and later 6–5, the British legend demonstrated her trademark composure, winning the final three racks to complete an 8–6 victory and advance to the final.

A Champion’s Finish

The final brought together two of the sport’s most accomplished competitors in a contest worthy of a World Championship.

With both players producing moments of brilliance, Centeno maintained her composure in the closing stages to defeat Fisher 9–6 and claim the 2026 Oneida WPA Women’s World 8-Ball Championship.

The triumph marks Centeno’s third WPA world title, adding the Women’s World 8-Ball crown to her Women’s World 10-Ball titles won in 2023 and 2025, further cementing her place among the leading players of her generation.
