Sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiards Association (WPA) and produced by Matchroom Sport, the event was held in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Billiard & Snooker Federation and the Ministry of Sport, drawing the world’s best 128 players and culminating in a final for the ages.

The final began with Fedor Gorst taking the early initiative, winning the first two racks. However, Carlo Biado responded with steely focus and precision, shifting the momentum entirely as he stormed ahead with a 9-rack run, establishing a commanding 9–3 lead.
Gorst, never one to back down, clawed his way back with a stunning comeback, leveling the match at 13–13 in one of the most intense stretches ever witnessed in a World 9-Ball final.
With the pressure at its peak, Biado displayed the composure of a true champion. At 14–13, he delivered a flawless break and run, sealing the match and recapturing the world title he first won in 2017.
