BALI, INDONESIA — October 5, 2026 — A spectacular week of world-class cue sports in Bali has come to a close, with the 2026 KAMUI WPA Women’s 9-Ball World Championship and the 2026 ISAK Billiard WPA Men’s Doubles 10-Ball World Championship producing two unforgettable championship moments.
The Bali International Convention Centre hosted an international field of elite players and teams, with the competition building toward two major World Championship finals — both delivering drama, pressure and championship-level performances.
The ARAMITH Men’s Open also concluded with Germany’s Joshua Filler taking the title.
(TPE) CHIEH-YU CHOU RECLAIMS THE WOMEN’S WORLD CROWN
The 2026 KAMUI WPA Women’s 9-Ball World Championship ended with a familiar champion returning to the top.
Chieh-Yu Chou of Chinese Taipei defeated defending champion Seoa Seo of Korea 3–1 in the final to capture her second Women’s World 9-Ball World Championship title.
The championship match brought together two players with a history of success on the world stage.
Chou, the 2023 World Champion, arrived in the final after a dominant 3–0 semifinal victory over Japan’s Chihiro Kawahara.
Seo earned her place in the final with a 3–1 victory over Tzu-Chien Wei, setting up a showdown between the reigning champion and the former champion.
For Seo, the final represented an opportunity to become the first woman since Liu Shasha in 2015 to successfully defend the Women’s World 9-Ball title.
But Chou had other plans.
She controlled the championship match to secure the 3–1 victory and reclaim the world crown.
