Welcome to the OPBA (Oceania Pocket Billiards Association), a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting and advancing the sport of pocket billiards throughout the diverse and vibrant region of Oceania. Established with the vision of fostering camaraderie and excellence in cue sports, the OPBA has a rich history that traces its roots to the collaborative efforts of founding members Australia and New Zealand. As the governing body for pocket billiards in Oceania, the OPBA encompasses a geographically diverse array of countries and territories, including those recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Oceania region boasts a total of 14 countries, each contributing to the cultural tapestry and competitive spirit of pocket billiards. These countries include Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Federated States Of Micronesia, Vanuatu, Samoa, Kiribati, Tonga, the Marshall Islands, Palau, Tuvalu, and Nauru. From the sun-kissed shores of Australia to the lush landscapes of New Zealand, and across the myriad islands, the OPBA unites players, enthusiasts, and federations in the shared pursuit of cue sports excellence.
