Jacksonville, Florida, USA – December 18, 2025 — The Predator Pro Billiard Series (PPBS) proudly announces the official opening of the 2025 WPA Kamui Women’s 9-Ball World Championship, now underway at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, as part of an extraordinary week of world-class cue sports in Jacksonville.
As the event organizers, Predator Pro Billiard Series brings together the world’s elite women athletes for one of the most prestigious titles in professional pool, staged under the sanction of the World Pool Association (WPA) and featuring a 64-player international field competing for a USD 175,000 total prize fund.
Following the official players’ meeting held last night, competition began this morning, marking Day 3 of tournament action in Jacksonville, which also includes the JAX Mixed Doubles Open and the JAX Men’s International Open 10-Ball — collectively positioning the city as a global epicenter for cue sports this December.

The tournament is contested using a double-elimination format down to the Last 16, followed by single-elimination rounds to determine the champion:
