WOJCIECH SZEWCZYK CROWNED 2026 WPA MEN’S 10-BALL WORLD CHAMPION IN HO CHI MINH CITY

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM — September 26, 2026: Wojciech Szewczyk has once again reached the summit of 10-ball, defeating Eklent Kaçi to become the 2026 Iwan Simonis WPA Men’s 10-Ball World Champion and claim his second World Championship title.

Four years after first lifting the trophy in 2022, Szewczyk has returned to the top of the sport, completing a remarkable campaign at Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

The championship brought together 96 of the world’s leading 10-ball players, all pursuing the sport’s biggest prize. After a week of intense competition, only Szewczyk and two-time World Champion Eklent Kaçi remained for the final.

A SECOND WORLD TITLE

Szewczyk’s 2026 triumph adds another major chapter to his World Championship career.

His first 10-ball world title came in 2022. Four years later, he has once again navigated an elite international field to become World Champion.

The Polish star showed consistency and composure throughout the knockout stages before reaching the final, where he faced Kaçi — a two-time World Champion himself, with titles from 2021 and 2023.

The final brought together two players with a combined history of multiple World Championship titles, but it was Szewczyk who ultimately emerged as the champion.

A CHAMPIONSHIP FULL OF DRAMA

The road to the final delivered its share of major moments and unexpected results.
