The 2024 African Heyball Open will take place at Hotel El Oliver Palace in Marrakech, Morocco, from October 30 to November 2, 2024. This event of the “From China with Love” Heyball campaign marks a major milestone for billiards in Africa. Organized by the Ultimate Pool Association Morocco and AMCBS, and sanctioned by the WPA and AAPA, the competition will feature top athletes from around the world.
With 16 JOY Billiards Heyball tables, including one for live streaming, fans can watch the event for free online. The prize pool for both men’s and women’s events totals $58,000 each, with the champions receiving $10,000.
Athlete nominations are due by September 30, 2024, and the athletes registration deadline is October 7. The competition will follow a double elimination format in Stage 1, leading to a single elimination in Stage 2.
