This landmark initiative is delivered under the WPA’s sanctioning framework, in alignment with the World Confederation of Billiard Sports (WCBS), and in collaboration with the World Heyball Tour (WHT) operated by Joy Billiards. The WPA Heyball World Cup represents a unified effort to elevate Heyball through structured governance, elite competition delivery, and global coordination.
Recognised within the wider international sports movement, WCBS further reinforcing Heyball’s position within the recognised international sporting ecosystem. This alignment highlights the growing credibility, structure, and long-term vision behind the discipline’s expansion.
The WPA Heyball World Cup has been established as a flagship world-level team event, bringing together leading men’s and women’s national teams from across continents. Designed to reflect the highest standards of sporting integrity, technical regulation, and competitive excellence, the event strengthens international pathways for athletes, national federations, and continental bodies.
The introduction of the WPA Heyball World Cup also marks a defining moment in how WPA-sanctioned events are delivered to a global audience. WPALive.tv now serves as the official digital broadcast platform for WPA events, establishing a unified, consistent, and world-class standard for live coverage across all disciplines.
All 16 competition tables will be broadcast live on WPALive.tv, providing unprecedented access for fans, federations, and stakeholders worldwide. This comprehensive multi-table coverage represents a major advancement in transparency, accessibility, and global engagement, ensuring that every match, nation, and athlete is visible on the world stage.
