The draw is complete. The field is set. The battle for one of the most coveted titles in professional pool is underway in Doha.
The Qatar World Cup 10-Ball 2026 entered its Main Event phase on 23 October, following the official players’ meeting and draw at the Ezdan Palace Hotel. With a total prize fund of US$450,000 at stake, the championship brings the international pool community together for eleven days of competition in the State of Qatar.
The official gathering brought together three key figures in international cue sports: Mr. Ishaun Singh, President of the World Pool Association (WPA); Mr. Mubarak Al-Khayarin, Executive Director of the Qatar Billiard Sports Federation (QBSF) and President of the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF); and Mr. Yacoub Fakhroo, Tournament Director.
The meeting marked a significant point in the championship, as players prepared for the challenges ahead and learned their paths through the official draw. From established international contenders to emerging talents, every competitor now has a clearer picture of the road to the title.
A major stage for international 10-ball
Hosted by the Qatar Billiard Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the State of Qatar, the championship runs from 19 to 29 October 2026 under WPA rules.
The Ezdan Palace Hotel serves as both the official tournament venue and hotel, bringing players and event operations together under one roof in Doha.
The scale of the prize fund, the international field and the presence of senior representatives from the sport’s governing bodies underline the championship’s importance on the global pool calendar.
