The World Pool Association (WPA) is thrilled to announce the inaugural WPA Heyball Junior World Championship, set to take place in Bengaluru, India, from November 26th to 29th, 2024. This prestigious event marks a significant milestone in promoting the Heyball format and showcases the best young talents in the sport.

About the Championship
The WPA Heyball Junior World Championship is part of the “From China with Love” Heyball campaign, aimed at enhancing the popularity and participation of Heyball worldwide. Organized by Luxe Billiards Impex LLP, this event is sanctioned by both the WPA and the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The championship will feature 8 JOY Billiards Heyball tables and will be broadcast live, offering free online viewing for fans around the globe. This initiative serves as a high-level competitive platform where junior players can demonstrate their skills and compete against the best.
Competition Format and Regulations
– Age Requirement: Athletes must be under 19 years of age (no athletes turning 19 in 2024).
– Entry: Via WPA Member Allocation, please contact your national federation.
– Race Length: Matches will be a race to 7 for boys and a race to 6 for girls, or 100 minutes.
– Rules: All matches will follow WPA Heyball rules, and live scoring will be managed through CueScore.
Travel and Accommodation
Joy Billiards will provide flight tickets for all athletes and one team leader per continental federation, along with airport shuttle transportation. Athletes are required to stay at the designated hotel, with half-board accommodation provided.
